Development of an analytical framework to improve understanding and assist in operationalizing NC valuation

Abstract

This report presents an analytical framework developed to investigate place-based monetary and nonmonetary values as a lever to inform decision-making at landscape scale. The framework combines the information extracted from an extensive review of the literature on the knowledge of values and natural capital (NC) valuation, co-constructed with relevant stakeholders.
