Singen und kulturelle Teilhabe: Bericht des Symposiums anlässlich des 250. Geburtstags von Hans Georg Nägeli

Abstract

Am 26. Mai 2023 jährte sich der 250. Geburtstag von Hans Georg Nägeli aus Wetzikon im Zürcher Oberland. Der Musikpädagoge, Chorleiter, Komponist und Verleger legte grosses Gewicht auf die gesellschaftliche Relevanz des Singens, weshalb er heute als Pionier und Wegbereiter kultureller Teilhabe gelten kann. In einem halbtägigen Symposium wurde am 22. September 2023 dem Thema der kulturellen Teilhabe beim Singen und im Chorwesen nachgegangen und die Aktualität von Nägelis Ideen und Wirken in den Vordergrund gerückt. Vorliegende Publikation vereinigt die Beiträge des Symposiums und dokumentiert die Schlüsse, die für eine an kultureller Teilhabe orientierte Förderung des Chorwesens gezogen worden sind.
