Abstract

تعتبر كتابات الرحالة الأوروبيين من المصادر الهامة لتاريخ ليبيا الحديث، ومن بين هؤلاء الرحالة يأتي (جوزيف بنيامين)، وهو يهودي من مولدوفا، والذي تجول في الأراضي الليبية سنة 1851م، للوقوف على أوضاع الطائفة اليهودية في البلاد، وقد سجل ملاحظات هامة عن أوضاع هذه الطائفة اجتماعيًّا واقتصادياً وثقافياً.
