Abstract

This document, Deliverable D12.1 of Work Package 12 (WP12) on Law, Ethics, and Citizen Engagement (ELSI) within the CAN.HEAL project under the EU4Health Programme, focuses on developing ethical and legal data governance for cancer genomics. It includes clearly defining the purposes for which data will be processed, such as data sharing and secondary use for research, public policy, and clinical purposes. The document highlights legislative challenges in genomic data sharing for these purposes and presents conclusions that are subsequently translated into actionable recommendations for CAN.HEAL stakeholders.
