The presentation and exercise were part of a two day program 'Training FAIR data management, held by DCC PO, https://dcc-po.nl, the Dutch centre of expertise about research support in the applied sciences. First we explained in a class room setting what choices for file formats have to do with reusability. After the theoretical part, we did an exercise in which participants discussed questions that they receive from researchers in their institutions regarding the choice for file formats, sustainability and reuse.
