Déterminants de l'entrepreneuriat informel : évidences empiriques des marchands ambulants de ville de Kinshasa

Abstract

Cet article a comme objectif d’analyser les déterminants de l’entrepreneuriat informel à travers le cas de marchands ambulants de la ville de Kinshasa. Suite au caractère qualitatif dichotomique de la variable dépendante, la technique de régression probit binaire a été utilisée pour atteindre l’objectif de cette étude. Les données utilisées dans cette étude sont issues d’une enquête réalisée auprès des marchands ambulants de la ville de Kinshasa, de septembre à octobre 2024, pour un échantillon de 384 marchands ambulants. En combinant les méthodes, l'article vise à obtenir une compréhension holistique des déterminants de l'entrepreneuriat informel dans le contexte particulier de Kinshasa. Les résultats sont issus des statistiques descriptives et les facteurs explicatifs de la motivation entrepreneuriale informelle, résultats de l’analyse multivariée. Le modèle a comme principe d’expliquer la survenance ou non d’un évènement par le niveau des variables explicatives. La variable dépendante que cette étude cherche à expliquer est la motivation entrepreneuriale informelle de marchand ambulant, notée par (Y).
