Abstract

„Im Wikiversum wirken“ – Projekt zur Stärkung und Messung von Transferleistungen durch Open Access Wikipedia fällt in der Webstatistik der Bibliothek für Bildungsgeschichtliche Forschung (BBF) des Deutschen Instituts für Internationale Pädagogische Forschung (DIPF) durch besonders hohe Zugriffswerte von externen Webseiten auf. Beispielsweise werden in zahlreichen Wikipediaartikeln Open Access verfügbare digitalisierte Quellen, insbesondere Personalbögen preußischer Lehrer/innen, verlinkt. Indem die Nutzung der qualitativ hochwertigen Quellen und Metadaten durch freie Onlinebereitstellung erleichtert und unterstützt wird, trägt die BBF direkt wie indirekt zur Verbreitung von faktengestütztem Wissen zur Bildungsgeschichte und Wissen über Bildung bei. Mit ihrem Angebot von frei zugänglichem unikalen Quellenmaterial erzielt die BBF eine breite, unmittelbare öffentliche Wirkung. Ziel des Projektes „Im Wikiversum wirken“ ist es, dieses große Potential auszubauen und durch definierte Indikatoren messen zu können. Hierfür wird ein Workshop durchgeführt, der im Rahmen des institutsinternen Programms Transfer 2017 zur Stärkung innovativer Transferaktivitäten am DIPF finanziert wird. Im Workshop werden Wikipedia und Wikidata von einem wiki:team-Referenten vertieft vorgestellt. Die Teilnehmer/innen erarbeiten darauf aufbauend Möglichkeiten zur Verbesserung der technischen Übergänge zur Verwendung der digitalen Open-Access-Ressourcen der BBF in der Wikipedia, um die Nutzung für die Autor/innen zu erleichtern. In einem zweiten Workshopteil werden von zwei Expertinnen aus dem DFG-Projekt *metrics geeignete Altmetricsansätze für die Impactmessung vorgestellt. Abschließend wird eine Liste von Indikatoren ausgearbeitet, die geeignet sind, den Impact der Open-Access-Leistungen abzubilden. Lars Müller | l.mueller@dipf.de Annett Krefft | krefft@dipf.de
