</script>This repository hosts the data from Meli et al. 2025: Temporal and spatial analysis of relative sea-level changes across the Emilia-Romagna coastal plain (northern Adriatic Sea). The repository includes two main datasets: - the monthly geocentric sea level time series representative of the Emilia-Romagna coast, covering the period from January 1993 to December 2020 (gsl_emilia-romagna.csv). This file contains three columns: the year and month (time), the sea level value (mean) expressed in centimeters relative to January 1993, and the associated 1-sigma uncertainty (err). - the vertical land movement reconstruction over the Emilia-Romagna coastal plain, available in the file vlm_emilia-romagna_coastal_plain.geojson. This file consists of a 500x500 m gridded map in EPSG:4326 format. Each grid cell contains information on the monthly vertical land displacement (in centimeters) with respect to January 2006 (indicated by the suffix "_mean"), and the associated 1-sigma uncertainty (indicated by the suffix "_std"). A relative sea level time series for each grid point within the VLM dataset can be obtained by subtracting the corresponding vertical land motion time series from the geocentric sea level time series: relative sea level = gsl_emilia-romagna.csv - vlm_emilia-romagna_coastal_plain.geojson Please cite the main source (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.ecss.2025.109143) when using these datasets.
