Tha dataset consists of 713 observations of household socio-economic data with financial characteristics. The survey was carried out two times in the non-urban part of Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county in the Northeastern area of Hungary. The first questionnaires were collected between March and May of 2019, and the second survey was made between July and August of 2021. Both of them were supported by interviewers who met the respondents in person. After dropping observations with missing data on borrowing and income, 335 and 378 households remained in 2019 and 2021, respectively.
