Expectativas sobre la educación en estudiantes de secundaria de un colegio estatal en San Juan de Lurigancho

Abstract

La educación ofrece posibilidades para una vida mejor en el ser humano. Sin embargo, en el contexto peruano, diversos factores impiden esa visión. En este sentido, la sociedad, especialmente las clases marginales, pierde el interés en el estudio porque no obtienen beneficios de la educación, por lo que no estudian con responsabilidad, sino por formalismo. La presente investigación tiene como objetivo describir las perspectivas sobre la instrucción de estudiantes de secundaria de un colegio estatal del distrito de San Juan de Lurigancho, Lima, Perú. Es un estudio cuantitativo, descriptivo, que recoge los pensamientos expresados por 474 estudiantes regulares y asistentes a clases. El estudio de las fichas ratifica que la educación brindada en las aulas, a pesar de la cantidad de desaprobados, y el poco interés que demuestran los estudiantes en desarrollar las competencias de cada curso, junto con las múltiples facilidades brindadas por el Estado para pasar de grado, sigue siendo importante, según la respuesta de los estudiantes, para el futuro académico. Se concluye que la expectativa en la educación sigue siendo relevante para los estudiantes de una institución pública en la búsqueda de un futuro promisorio.
