Abstract

This comprehensive report addresses all key facets essential for the strategic development and sustainability of the EFRA project. Initially, the document highlights EFRA’s use cases and technical capabilities, showcasing the platform's ability to predict and prevent food risks using advanced AI models and data integration. These use cases comprise of predictive analytics for salmonella in poultry farms, enhanced pest alarm systems, and automated regulatory analysis. Each use case demonstrates EFRA’s technical strengths and its potential for real-world application. Afterwards, an extensive market analysis provides a look at all relevant markets for EFRA and examines their current states and trends. Those markets include data, predictive analytics, food safety/fraud detection, food risk prediction, poultry and crop farming. Analysis helps in producing accurate Internal & External analyses for EFRA, in the form of SWOT & PESTLE. The Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) plan establishes a robust framework to safeguard EFRAs innovative assets, ensuring that the intellectual capital remains a cornerstone of its competitive advantage. Through meticulously executing this plan, the IPs existing before the start of the project will be protected while those produced during its lifespan will be managed and leveraged from the involved partners. Subsequently, the Business Models Playbook is introduced, offering a framework for developing versatile business strategies tailored to EFRA’s use cases. This playbook guides the creation of business models that can adapt to market demands, enhance customer value, and ensure long-term growth. Special focus is given to the Business Model Canvas, which is the model of choice for EFRA. In tandem with the consortium’s commitment to excellence, the sustainability plan underscores the dedication to good organizational/business practices. It includes the Marketing Plan for EFRA’s platform composed at present from 3 Key Exploitable Results (KERs), 1) EFRA Data Hub, 2) EFRA Analytics Powerhouse, and 3) EFRA Data & Analytics Marketplace. By proactively considering all future aspects of the project, the consortium can ensure with higher certainty its future success. Collectively, the IPR plan, market analysis, Business Models Playbook and sustainability plan represent a comprehensive approach to organisational development, aligning innovative prowess, strategic business models and commitment to sustainable practices. Through meticulous execution and continuous adaptation, the EFRA platform aims to be a responsible, innovative, and resilient platform inside fast changing and dynamic markets.
