Abstract

ABSTRACT The study sought to identify means of transportation that would optimize the efficient and timely supply of Class I resources. For this purpose, a documentary review was used, including historical and contemporary studies that analyze logistics and transportation in challenging operational contexts. As a result, the diversification of means of transportation, such as the combined use of land, air and river routes, is key to overcoming geographical limitations. In addition, strategic route planning and technical training of logistics personnel have a significant influence on supply efficiency; thus, it was highlighted that optimized transportation systems reduce costs, time and improve the perception of reliability by recipients, increasing morale and cohesion in operational contexts. It is concluded that the integration of logistics solutions adapted to the operational context and the training of personnel are fundamental to guarantee the supply of essential resources.
