Immersione nel mondo del plancton con il microscopio Curiosity

Abstract

Questo materiale didattico è incentrato sul plancton, un gruppo eterogeneo di organismi a vita libera presenti negli oceani di tutto il mondo. Il plancton si riferisce generalmente a organismi microscopici presenti sia in acqua dolce che in acqua salata. Svolgono un ruolo cruciale negli ecosistemi marini, collegando diversi livelli trofici di cibo e contribuendo anche al ciclo di elementi come il carbonio e l'azoto. Sebbene il plancton e gli ecosistemi marini occupino gran parte della Terra e siano essenziali per la salute del pianeta, i programmi di studio spesso enfatizzano gli argomenti relativi alla massa terrestre e trascurano la biodiversità marina e argomenti simili. Lo scopo principale di questo materiale è contribuire alla conoscenza dei nostri oceani e stimolare la conversazione e la discussione in classe.
