We employed a time-series mapping framework for urban morphology, producing dynamic mappings of urban morphology with a spatial resolution of 100 meters spanning from 2000 to 2022 in major Chinese cities, based on the local climate zone (LCZ) scheme. The results demonstrate strong inter-year consistency, and the accuracy of urban morphology change mapping is overall higher than 70%. Our dataset is divided into 6 parts according to geographical districts, each containing annual LCZ mapping of each province in the region. This dataset holds significant potential for enhancing urban morphology monitoring and advancing urban climate research.
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 1 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
