Climate change has had a profound impact on this river, influencing its flow, quality, and biodiversity. This paper examines the interplay between climate change and the Ganga River through a sociological lens, focusing on the social, economic, and cultural repercussions. By analyzing the river's role in the lives of millions, this study highlights the need for inclusive strategies to mitigate climate impacts on vulnerable populations dependent on the Ganga.
