Abstract

El pliego de villancicos impreso en 1626 para la festividad de los Reyes Magos en la catedral de Sevilla es el más antiguo que se ha conservado de los dedicados a esta fiesta del calendario anual litúrgico. Fueron compuestos por fray Francisco de Santiago, maestro de capilla de esta institución. The sheet of villancicos printed in 1626 for the feast of the Three Wise Men in Seville Cathedral is the oldest surviving of those dedicated to this feast in the annual liturgical calendar. They were composed by Fray Francisco de Santiago, the chapel master of this institution.
