Discursos pedagógicos sobre el valor formativo de la enseñanza histórica. Perspectiva de los formadores de docentes

Abstract

La investigación tuvo como propósito distinguir discursos pedagógicos de académicos formadores de docentes en historia y geografía, respecto del valor formativo de la enseñanza histórica en tiempos actuales. El estudio se realizó desde una metodología cualitativa, utilizándose como epistemología basal la fenomenología hermenéutica y como técnica de producción de información la entrevista en profundidad. Los resultados permitieron distinguir la predominancia discursiva de valores educativos asociados a la formación ciudadana, al desarrollo del pensamiento crítico y la emergencia de la perspectiva intercultural en la enseñanza histórica. Por el contrario, valores formativos tradicionales como la historia y la formación en identidad nacional son escasamente relevados en su versión clásica, siendo resignificados hacia la formación en reflexividad e identidades locales en los discursos de formadores de profesores. Se concluyó que, en el contexto presente, puede concebirse una categoría emergente como valor formativo en la enseñanza histórica, como es la formación en interculturalidad, que posee la potencialidad de favorecer el estudio y enseñanza histórica en perspectiva decolonial.
