Abstract

This article examines the role of anxiety in entrepreneurship and mechanisms for overcoming this state. In conditions of high uncertainty and multitasking, entrepreneurs face constant stress, which can negatively impact their productivity and emotional well-being. However, contemporary research shows that anxiety can serve as a source of stimuli for creativity, innovation, and adaptability. The purpose of this study is to identify the sources of anxiety, its manifestations, and strategies for managing anxiety in entrepreneurial contexts. This article discusses key strategies for overcoming anxiety, such as cognitive reframing, goal reevaluation, and self-care. Particular attention is given to cultural perceptions of uncertainty and anxiety, as well as adaptive methods for managing them. The findings suggest that anxiety can actually serve as an important catalyst for entrepreneurial growth and success when approaches are applied that focus on problem structuring, rapid hypothesis testing, and reframing failures as opportunities for development. The article highlights the importance of integrating cognitive-behavioral strategies into entrepreneurial practices to enhance resilience and effectiveness in uncertain environments. It is addressed to professionals in the field of psychological consulting and coaching who work with clients aiming to adapt to change and improve their professional resilience.
