Em si plantando, tudo dá

Abstract

It is possible to say that humans are aware of the importance of plants as they employ them in various daily activities such as in food, construction, landscaping, medicine, therapeutic uses, and so on. However, they often fail to realize that plants are incredibly generous sources of life; they sustain the lives of other living beings. From this perspective, this work aims to argue the need to broaden our relationship with plants and invent other, deeper modes of contact with vegetal beings to evoke different perceptions regarding the complexity of these entities. Thus, there is an urgent need for a perspective that points towards other coexistence experiences, less conflictive and possessive, more respectful, sincere, and spiritual, promoting well-being for both plants and ourselves.
