Abstract In all areas of knowledge, there is a lack of representation of women. In the universe of digital technologies, it is no different, the gender debate emerges in this area questioning the presence of professional women, and it shows that their absence in the job market reveals structural sexism. This phenomenon is being coded and globalized through algorithms and interfaces that self-center on patriarchal figures. Rehearsing reflections on the lack of female representation in the field of design and digital technology, this study seeks to present how this lack of expression in algorithmic perspectives has been compromising the representation of women in the field of technology. Through an analysis of a case study of intersectional prejudices. It points out, finally, the need for reorientation of the field for the construction of a design and a technology that seeks to give visibility to those who, for so long, were not seen as relevant. Keywords: Digital Design; Women; Female Representation; Algorithmic Bias.
