Abstract

Compreender os pesos distintos que os vetores de fragmentação exercem sobre estes remanescentes, assim como, quais variáveis do meio físico são relevantes para estabelecer metodologias que indiquem potenciais corredores ecológicos entre as unidades de conservação são imprescindíveis. Isto se justifica no sentido de que são relevantes ao planejamento ambiental considerando a resiliência climática local, frente as mudanças climáticas, a conservação da diversidade biológica os quais tem lastro nos compromissos firmados pelo Brasil na agenda 2030, como disposto no Objetivo do Desenvolvimento Sustentável (ODS) 13 - Ação contra a mudança global do clima, e ODS 15 – Vida terrestre. Desta forma o principal questionamento desta pesquisa é como conectar unidades de conservação inseridas no bioma Mata Atlântica por meio da modelagem de corredores ecológicos espacialmente viáveis, integrados a partir de um Sistema de Informação Geográfica (SIG) utilizando imagens de satélites? O objetivo principal deste projeto de pesquisa é modelar um corredor ecológico viável espacialmente integrado num Sistema de Informação Geográfica (SIG) utilizando imagens de satélites para promover a conexão entre duas importantes unidades de conservação do município de São Francisco de Paula–RS, ambas inseridas no recorte da Sub-Bacia do Arroio Rolantinho da Areia (SBRA) e Sub-bacia Rio Rolante (SBRR), no Alto Sinos.
