Hosts and distribution in Japan:—0, I on Artemisia japonica Thunb. (Hon), A. indica var. maximowiczii (Nakai) H.Hara (= A. princeps Pamp.) (Hon); II, III on Carex fibrillosa Franch. & Sav. [= C. breviculmis subsp. fibrillosa (Franch. & Sav.) T. Koyama, C. leucochlora var. fibrillosa (Franch. & Sav.) T. Koyama] (Hon) (Ono 1983, Hiratsuka et al. 1992). Notes:—Life cycle of this species was proved by Ono (1983).
