Abstract

Puccinia aecidii-leucanthemi E. Fisch. Type:— Holotype or lectotype has not been designated, but syntypes or related specimens have been deposited in BPI (043542), NY (48707) and S (F34144, 34145). Description:—See Hiratsuka et al. (1992). Hosts and distribution in Japan:— II, III on Carex oxyandra (Franch. & Sav.) Kudo var. oxyandra (Hok) (Ito 1950, Hiratsuka 1960, Hiratsuka et al. 1992). Notes:— Aecidium leucanthemi DC. on Chrysanthemum species has been reported as spermogonial and aecial stages of this species in Europe, but these stages have not been found in Japan (Ito 1950). This species is mainly distributed in Europe.
