Towards greater visibility and re-use of software developed within the SeaDataNet infrastructure: the example of OCTOPUS Software

Abstract

This project consisted of first evaluating the FAIR level of the existing OCTOPUS software and then improving its FAIRness by following the main recommendations of the FAIR-IMPACT project. "Greater visibility and citation of the software used to process oceanographic data, and increased re-use of source codes to encourage future developments with a view to promoting open science." Supported applicant: Steven PIEL, Ifremer, Brest, France Partners involved: Sébastien CROUZILLE, Cap Gemini, Brest, France Léo BRUVRY-LAGADEC, Ifremer, Brest, France Vincent FACHERO, Ifremer, Brest, FranceJulie GATTI, Ifremer, Brest, France, Cécile PERTUISOT, Ifremer, Brest, France Marine VERNET, Ifremer, Brest, France Françoise LE HINGRAT, Ifremer, Brest, France Jérôme DETOC, Ifremer, Brest, France Erwan BODERE, Ifremer, Brest, France
