Abstract

Kurikulum menjadi sebuah hal yang penting dalam pendidikan, sehingga harus menyesuaikan dengan kondisi zaman agar lulusan nantinya mampu menjawab dan memenuhi kebutuhan zaman yang ada. Namun, sisi lain pendidikan juga punya problem mulai dari sumber daya guru, sarana prasarana yang belum merata padahal secara kebijakan sistem sama dari pusat. Tujuan artikel ini ialah menelaah apakah tepat wacana perubahan atau pergantian kurikulum dari merdeka belajar (kurikulum merdeka) ke kurikulum Deep Learning, yang hasil akhirnya ialah memberikan rekomendasi apakah tepat atau tidak wacana tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah studi kepustakaan dengan teknik pengumpulan data dokumentasi (buku, artikel), teknik analisa data menggunakan induksi dan interpretasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa wacana perubahan kurikulum Deep Learning sebagai pengganti kurikulum merdeka tidaklah menjadi hal yang krusial atau skala prioritas. Mengingat, secara konsep, prinsip, tujuan dan paradigma pembelajaran sama tidak jauh beda, sehingga urgensi dan peranannya tidak jauh beda yang kurikulum sebelumnya yang memang mengusung pembelajaran sesuai minat, keterampilan, kontekstual, berbasis masalah, proyek dan berparadigma konstruktivistik. Kementerian pendidikan Nasional harusnya fokus pada masalah nyata yang ada di pendidikan Indonesia yakni terkait pemerataan pembangunan pendidikan Nasional yang hingga saat ini terjadi kesenjangan yang cukup tinggi antara swasta-negeri, perkotaan-pedesaan, belum lagi masih adanya daerah tertinggal, pelosok, pegunungan yang secara akses jalan, layanan internet juga masih lemah.
