This dataset provides monthly aggregated global gross primary production (GPP) at 0.05° latitude by 0.05° longitude for 1982-2022. This GPP dataset was generated by the revised EC-LUE model (Zheng et al. 2020 ESSD) by integrating the regulations of several major environmental variables: atmospheric CO2 concentration, radiation components (i.e., direct and diffuse radiations), and atmospheric vapor pressure deficit (VPD). The remote sensing based LAI driven data in this dataset is GLASS-LAI v6 based on the Bi-LSTM algorithm (Ma et al. 2022 RSE), which only applied the AVHRR based reflectance as input. Each .zip file contains all the monthly aggregated GPP (unit in gC m-2 month-1) of a year. The scale factor is 0.01, which means that the original GPP should multiple 0.01 for the month value. The filled value is >60000. This dataset is generated by Dr. Shangrong LIN and Dr. Jie TIAN.
