Abstract

El objetivo principal de este artículo es resaltar la idealización de la escue-la inclusiva en el contexto de la educación y la otredad, apoyándose en las teorías de autores como Banks (2023), Bourdieu y Passeron (1970), Freire (2018), Levinas (2023), Goffman (2019) y Said (2016). Este estudio se enmarca en una investigación cualitativa con un diseño documental explicativo, que incluye una revisión de investigaciones y artículos arbitrados de diversas bases de datos, utilizando la hermenéutica como método de interpretación. Se concluye que reconocer y valorar la ‘definición del Otro’ es esencial para la autocomprensión y para resaltar las características culturales de ciertos pedagogos. Reexionar sobre el profesionalismo docente y su formación continua es crucial para manejar la diversidad y brindar apoyo a los estudiantes, ya sea mediante tutorías, adaptaciones curriculares o tecnología asistida. La inclusión en la educación es fundamental, ya que los prejuicios inconscientes pueden afectar las expectativas hacia los estudiantes. Por ello, los directores deben ser proactivos en promover la inclusión, asignando recursos y capacitando a los docentes en diversidad, fomentando un entorno que celebre la diversidad y realizando evaluaciones basadas en la retroalimentación.
