Transformando la enseñanza en ingeniería: innovación y desempeño docente en el TecNM

Abstract

Este estudio se enfocó en analizar los factores determinantes del comportamiento innovador de los docentes que imparten clases a las carreras de ingeniería en dos instituciones del Tecnológico Nacional de México, como lo son la cede Celaya y Roque, en el estado de Guanajuato. Se evaluaron siete áreas clave, incluyendo generación y búsqueda de ideas, comunicación e implementación de innovaciones, colaboración, superación de obstáculos y apoyo institucional. Además de un análisis sobre la satisfacción profesional. La muestra incluyó 201 docentes, y se utilizaron dos instrumentos con alfas de Cronbach de 0.96 y 0.89, junto con un análisis de componentes con rotación ortogonal. Aunque los docentes mostraron alta satisfacción profesional, se observó indiferencia hacia la implementación y comunicación de ideas. Se identificaron habilidades destacadas en la generación y búsqueda de ideas, destacando la necesidad de mejorar estrategias educativas. La colaboración interdisciplinaria se destacó como crucial para abordar desafíos y preparar a los estudiantes. Se subrayó la importancia de revisar las políticas de apoyo institucional para fomentar un entorno propicio para la innovación. Estos hallazgos no solo tienen implicaciones para la educación en México, sino también para comprender los impulsores de la innovación en instituciones académicas de ingeniería a nivel global.
