Abstract

La escasez de agua es una de las principales amenazas en la región mediterránea, donde las reservas naturales de agua ya no bastan para satisfacer la creciente demanda. La agricultura es la principal causa de presión sobre los recursos hídricos naturales, lo que provoca la pérdida de ecosistemas acuáticos. Esta situación se ve agravada por los crecientes efectos del cambio climático y las variaciones estacionales. Para hacer frente a este reto, es necesario mejorar la gestión del ciclo hidrológico.
