</script>Kryptousia sp.2 (Fig.16A–E). Filaments entangled, forming flake-like groups. Sheath firm, thin, hyaline or absent. Trichomes cylindrical, with bilateral (X type) and tolypothricoid branches, constricted or not. Apical cells conical to conical-rounded. Cells cylindrical to subquadratical, 2.36–6.33 µm wide, 2.35–6.46 µm long. Cell content granulated, blue-green. Basal or intercalary heterocytes, semielliptical, sub-quadratic to cylindrical 3.43–6.48 µm wide, 3.07–7.77 µm long. Necridia present. Habitat: —Rock. Notes: —This morphotype is similar to Kryptousia macronema Alvarenga, Andreote, Branco & Fiore, but differs by habitat, being K. macronema described from mangrove (Alvarenga et al. 2017).
