Abstract

Les albums de jeunesse peuvent favoriser l’acquisition de la plurilittéracie dans des contextes éducatifs multilingues. L’interaction entre les éléments visuels et linguistiques dans les albums de jeunesse soutient une acquisition de compétences multimodales qui enrichit l’expérience de lecture sur le plan esthétique et favorise la construction du sens. Les albums bilingues en particulier offrent, grâce à l’interaction de deux langues et de systèmes sémiotiques, une ressource stimulante pour un apprentissage translinguistique et interculturel. Ainsi, l’exploration de l’album translingue Der Schrei. Le loup migrant (Seiler 2019) montre comment ces œuvres peuvent contribuer au développement de la compétence interculturelle et de la plurilittéracie. Le chapitre met en lumière les développements théoriques dans la recherche sur le plurilinguisme et décrit les bénéfices des albums translingues pour un apprentissage translinguistique et interculturel.
