Abstract

ABSTRACT The objective of the research was to analyze the incorporation of ICT in didactic strategies for teaching mathematics through a systematic review of the literature. The PICOC strategy and the PRISMA-2020 protocol were used, reviewing 19 articles, of which 7 were selected, published between 2019 and 2023 in databases such as EBSCO, PROQUEST, Redalyc, Scielo and SCOPUS. The inclusion criteria considered articles in Spanish and English, excluding those that were duplicated, incomplete or restricted access. The results showed that ICTs favor the learning of mathematics in both basic and higher education. At the higher level, the use of active methodologies and constructivist approaches, such as webquests and inverted classrooms, was highlighted. At the basic level, the creation of new learning environments using ICT tools was highlighted. In conclusion, the use of ICT as a teaching strategy is beneficial at both educational levels.
