Air or seasonal snow temperature data collected at different heights above the ground (2.5, 5, 10, 20, 40, 80, and 160 cm), generally recorded every 3 hours between 2006 and 2023, using an array of temperature micro-loggers (iButton models by Maxim) mounted along a vertical wooden mast. These measurements were taken at various stations of the PERMATHERMAL network, managed by the University of Alcalá, Madrid, Spain, to monitor the thermal dynamics of frozen soils on Livingston Island, South Shetland Islands, Antarctica.
