A presentation given at the IFLA webinar "Linked Open Bibliographies: Exposing, Linking, Reusing" on November 27, 2024. This presentation briefly introduces the Royal Library of Belgium and more specifically the Belgian Bibliography. Afterwards the creation of Linked Open Data is discussed and the benefit of already putting URIs in your catalog to be Linked Data-ready. More specifically the presentation focuses on Resource Description and Access (RDA) terms as well as the MetaBelgica project that aims to provide further authority data that can be references via URIs in KBRs catalog. Update: added a slide about challenges and best practices for data integration.
