
The MAPWORMS project introduces an innovative robot concept inspired by the shape-morphing abilities of marine worms, particularly Sipuncula. The project aims at developing worm-inspired soft robots capable of simple primitive movements through various actuation units, responsive to stimuli such as magnetic fields, temperature changes, pH variations, and chemical reactions. This document outlined the development of magnetic-responsive and temperature-responsive actuation units.
