ஆய்வுச்சுருக்கம் (Abstract) பண்டைத் தமிழக அரசரது போர்முறைகளையும் பின்விளைவுகளையும் தொகுத்துப் பகுப்பது இக்கட்டுரையின் நோக்கம் ஆகும். வெற்றிக்கு வழிவகுத்த நடைமுறைகளையும் கொண்டாட்ட நடவடிக்கைகளையும் பின்விளைவுகளையும் தொகுத்த பின்னரே; போரைத் தொடர்ந்து இன்னார் இன்ன பயன் பெற்றார் என்றும்; இன்னின்னார் முடி சூடி ஆண்டனர் என்றும் முடிவு செய்ய இயல்கிறது. இப்பகுப்பாய்வுக்குத் தொகைநூல்கள் முதனிலைத் தரவுகள் ஆக; ஆய்வாளர், உரையாசிரியர், பதிப்பாளர், தொல்லியலார் கூறும் கருத்துகள் இரண்டாம்நிலைத் தரவுகளாம். வேந்தரும் குறுநிலமன்னரும் முடிசூடி இருந்தனர். வேந்தர் வெற்றியால் பார்ப்பாரும் இரவலராகிய திணைமாந்தரும் பயன் உற்றனர். குறுநில மன்னரின் வெற்றி அவரது வயல்களைக் காத்தது. The aim of this article is to analyze and summarize the proceedings of the wars and the after-effects among the kings of early Tamilnadu. It's needed to list the specific factors leading to victory, the mode of celebrating the same and the after- effects to decipher the beneficiaries of the victory and identify those Kings who wore crowns. The anthologies and ten idylls serve as primary sources for the analytical approach. The reports of the archaeologists, findings of the researchers, views of the commentators and notes of the publishers serve as secondary sources. Both vendhar and kurunila mannar were wearing crowns. The paarppaar and iravalar among Thinaimaanthar were benefited by venthar's victory. Victory of kurunila mannar saved their farms.
