
The article provides information about the topic's relevance, purpose, tasks and material methodology. In the main part of the topic, the physical and geographical conditions of the territory (relief, climate, hydrological and hydrogeological, plant and animal family, anthropogenic influence, etc.), degradation processes (salinization, erosion, swamping, stony, bush- mowed areas, etc.), morphological, physical and chemical properties are studied. As a result, by studying and analyzing the physical-geographical conditions of the area in order to protect the soil environment in the Ordubad administrative region, directions were indicated for the assessment of land under cultural and natural plants, grouping of agro-production and determining the land groups that need agro-ameliorative measures in the area. At the same time, this study has given several suggestions and recommendations for effective use of all soil types, subtypes and species diversity spread in Ordubad administrative region.
