
This document represents a storytelling-formatted protocol proposed to be used for communicating information related to the spread and behavior of past wildfire events. It includes sections providing information related to fire progression, fire behavior and environmental drivers, impacts, and lessons learned. The aim of the NERO storytelling template is to consolidate presentation of past wildfire events across Europe, enabling straightforward comparisons between different events and effective outreach of the facts related to the occurrence of extreme fire behavior.
