Abstract

This article examines practical applications of RFID technology in supply chains and logistics. This technology is also called radio frequency identification and is becoming an increasingly popular tool for automating, tracking and optimizing inventory management. This article analyzes real cases of RFID implementation in various industries, including warehousing, retail and manufacturing. Examples of companies such as Zara, Media Markt and AvtoVAZ illustrate examples for improving data accuracy, processing speed and cost efficiency. The article also addresses key challenges such as the high cost of tags and the need for coordination between all participants in the supply chain. It emphasizes that RFID not only improves operational efficiency but also supports sustainable business development, offering a competitive advantage in a global market.
