Abstract

Se presenta Re3data, un registro mundial de repositorios de datos de investigación en diversas disciplinas académicas. Este registro permite a los científicos identificar los repositorios adecuados para depositar sus datos, facilitando así el almacenamiento y el acceso permanente a los conjuntos de datos a investigadores, organismos de financiación, editores e instituciones académicas. Describe los iconos de re3data que ayudan a identificar las características clave de los repositorios, como el acceso abierto o restringido, el uso de identificadores persistentes, las políticas de uso y las certificaciones de calidad.Se explica el procedimiento para añadir un repositorio a re3data, que incluye la presentación de una solicitud y una revisión exhaustiva del sitio web del repositorio para garantizar que cumple los requisitos mínimos de la política de re3data antes de ser indexado. El acceso se define en tres niveles: al repositorio, a los conjuntos de datos y a los conjuntos de datos cargados, cada uno de los cuales puede ser abierto, restringido o cerrado, con condiciones de uso claramente explicadas. Además, re3data ofrece opciones avanzadas de búsqueda y filtros para especificar criterios detallados, y permite la reutilización de sus metadatos a través de API, facilitando la integración en otros proyectos y plataformas de investigación.
