Open Access is gaining increasingly importance within the academic publication system as well as within the service portfolios of academic libraries. Against this background, students in the blended learning Master's programme Library and Information Science (MALIS) of the Cologne University of Technology have produced an educational video on the publication services of academic libraries. In the animated film, animal protagonists introduce the subject matter in an entertaining way and compare the publication service portfolio of three different academic libraries. The video is available here as an Open Educational Resource for free use (CC-BY 4.0 license).
