Química e segurança dos ftalatos em produtos de beleza
Esse estudo revela possíveis toxidades e efeitos indesejados causados pelos ftalatos presentes em cosméticos. Devido as propriedades hidrofóbicas e lipofílicas dos ftalatos eles apresentam um amplo uso na fabricação de produtos de beleza como ótimos plastificantes, estabilizadores e conservantes, porém a exposição contínua aos cosméticos que contêm ftalatos podem ter efeitos tóxicos significativos para os organismos humanos.
