Abstract

Resumen El estudio se enfoca en determinar las habilidades blandas en estudiantes universitarios a través de una revisión sistemática. Para lograrlo, se plantean los siguientes objetivos específicos: 1) Determinar la capacidad de trabajo en equipo en los estudiantes universitarios de Piura; 2) Evaluar las habilidades de liderazgo en los estudiantes universitarios de Piura; y 3) Determinar la comunicación efectiva en los estudiantes universitarios de Piura. La metodología empleada consistió en la búsqueda y análisis de artículos académicos, informes y estudios publicados entre 2018 y 2023 en bases de datos como Scopus, Web of Science y Scielo. Los resultados de la revisión sistemática indican que las habilidades blandas más frecuentemente destacadas son la comunicación efectiva, el trabajo en equipo, la adaptabilidad y la resolución de problemas. Los estudios analizados muestran una relación positiva entre la formación en habilidades blandas y la empleabilidad, así como el éxito académico y personal de los estudiantes. Se concluyó que la inclusión de programas de desarrollo de habilidades blandas en el currículo universitario es esencial para preparar a los estudiantes para los desafíos en el ámbito laboral.

Abstract The study focuses on determining soft skills in university students through a systematic review. To achieve this, the following specific objectives are set out: 1) To determine teamwork skills in university students in Piura; 2) To assess leadership skills in university students in Piura; and 3) To determine effective communication in university students in Piura. The methodology employed consisted of the search and analysis of academic articles, reports and studies published between 2018 and 2023 in databases such as Scopus, Web of Science and Scielo. The results of the systematic review indicate that the most frequently highlighted soft skills are effective communication, teamwork, adaptability and problem solving. The studies analyzed show a positive relationship between soft skills training and employability, as well as students' academic and personal success. It was concluded that the inclusion of soft skills development programs in the university curriculum is essential to prepare students for the challenges in the workplace.
