Abstract

Este relato técnico foi elaborado através da experiência da empresa SuperPrix SA. Os diretores da empresa decidiram utilizar estudos de mercado como ferramentas auxiliares no processo de tomada de decisão. O objetivo deste relato foi avaliar o impacto do uso dos estudos de mercado no desempenho da organização. Para a análise do impacto dessas ferramentas, foi descrito o plano de solução proposto e o plano de mudanças executado, bem como foram utilizados gráficos e tabelas com a finalidade de estabelecer comparações entre o momento antes e após aplicação dos planos. O resultado atingido demonstrou aumento nos valores brutos de faturamento e resultado da empresa, apesar de haver aumento no valor dos estoques. Na visão do grupo, o aumento do número de estoques é consequência da inexperiência dos diretores e demonstra limitações no uso dos estudos de mercado como ferramenta auxiliar nas decisões. Como conclusão, é destacada a possível contribuição dos estudos de concorrência e parâmetros da demanda no faturamento e resultado da empresa. A contribuição do estudo possui originalidade ao relatar tecnicamente o impacto das pesquisas de mercado em uma organização de ambiente simulado.

This technical report was prepared using the experience of the company SuperPrix SA. The company's directors decided to use market studies as auxiliary tools in the decision-making process. The objective of this report was to evaluate the impact of using market studies on the organization's performance. To analyze the effect of these tools, the proposed solution plan and the implemented change plan were described, and graphs and tables were used to establish comparisons between the moment before and after the application of the plans. The result demonstrated an increase in the company's gross revenue and results despite an increase in the value of inventories. In the group's view, the rise in the number of stocks is a consequence of the directors' inexperience. It demonstrates limitations in using market studies as an auxiliary tool in decisions. In conclusion, the possible contribution of competition studies and demand parameters to the company's revenue and results is highlighted. The study's contribution has originality in technically reporting the impact of market research in an organization in a simulation environment.
