This repository holds a set of posterior draws and instructions for the conversion of onchocercal nodule prevalence in adult males (age 20+) to the prevalence of skin microfilariae in the general population (age 5+). The posterior draws are based on an analysis of field data in JAGS as described by Coffeng et al. (PLOS Negl Trop Dis 2013). For this repository, the data were reanalysed in Stan for more efficient and robust sampling of the posterior. The posterior draws in this repository may be freely used, provided that the original paper and this repository are both cited: Original paper: Coffeng LE, Pion SDS, O’Hanlon S, Cousens S, Abiose AO, et al.
