ARTofCOSMOS: aprendiendo a comunicar la astronomía al público

Abstract

La divulgación o comunicación de la ciencia no está en el currículo académico, aunque existe un gran futuro laboral relacionada con ella o incluso es evaluada como parte de la actividad científica. Durante prácticas de empresa en dos cursos del Máster en Astrofísica de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid, cinco estudiantes han ayudado a un investigador del Centro de Astrobiología a comunicar la astronomía a la sociedad. Para ello, han usado las herramientas de comunicación más actuales (web, vídeos, redes sociales) y el ARTE para desarrollar y difundir el proyecto "artofcosmos": desde Johann Sebastian Bach a César Manrique y WALL-E pasando por el Romance de la luna de Federico García Lorca - desde la Despedida del Año Internacional de la Astronomía al día de puertas abiertas en el European Space Astronomy Centre pasando por Roy Batty disfrazado de Homero en la Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernado, todos ellos al son de El ordenador simula el nacimiento de las estrellas.
