CR diffusion in micromirrors

Authors: Reichherzer, Patrick;

CR diffusion in micromirrors

Abstract

This dataset provides the relevant data used to generate the plots illustrating cosmic ray (CR) diffusion in the research paper titled Efficient Micromirror Confinement of Sub-TeV Cosmic Rays in Galaxy Clusters. The data captures key metrics, including the diffusion coefficients, energies, and simulation parameters, used to evaluate CR transport along magnetic field lines in galaxy clusters. The dataset enables the reproduction of the main results, including the influence of micromirrors on CR confinement and the spatial distribution of diffusion rates.
