The It’s not just business: AI risks, rewards, and responsibilities workshop introduces participants to responsible AI concepts and ways to approach AI adoption within business decision making. We will introduce a structured framework for thinking about how to responsibly design, develop, and deploy AI in business, and we will feature an example use case involving generative AI. Participants should expect to learn to anticipate social and environmental consequences, to pre-empt unacceptable risks, and to capitalise on unexpected opportunities. The workshop slide deck available below was adapted by Mishka Nemes from an online course developed for the Alan Turing Institute: It’s not just business: AI risks, rewards, and responsibilities, available here. The accompanying Miro template for running the workshop as a facilitator or for running this exercise in your own business case is available here. The course and learning materials available here were developed by Dr. A.E. Jaques and Dr. Milo Phillips-Brown, in partnership with the Alan Turing Institute and Accenture. The CAIR3 framework is based on the Responsible Business Framework developed by Accenture, adapted here with permission. A.I.M. is inspired by earlier work by doteveryone.
