Abstract

Das Forschungsprojekt Bio-Mo-D (2021 – 2024) untersucht, wie nationale und unternehmerische Wirtschaftsberichterstattungen unter Einbeziehung von Biodiversität und Ökosystemleistungen (ÖSL) weiterentwickelt werden können. Der Hintergrund hierfür: Die Leistungsfähigkeit der Ökosysteme und der Biodiversität eines Landes sind Grundlage für sein Wohlergehen und den zukünftigen Wohlstand und sollten daher in staatlichen und unternehmerischen Wirtschaftsberichterstattungen berücksichtigt werden. Da es zudem viele dieser Leistungen quasi zum Nulltarif gibt, wurden Ökosysteme lange Zeit übernutzt und degradiert.
