Welcome to the EuroFIR Annual Report for the year 2023. Reflecting on the past year, it is evident that 2023 has been a year of both progress and reflection for EuroFIR. If I were to summarise this in a few words, I would note that EuroFIR has seen an increase in its presence and visibility, efforts in various projects, and the emergence of a vibrant next generation, as well as the poignant loss of two esteemed pioneers in food composition. As we move forward, it is clear that EuroFIR is evolving, both in terms of the team and our financial outlook. The continued dedication of our staff and the promising prospects ahead signal a bright future for EuroFIR and its Members even in the midst of change.
